Hello from Kenya!!

I came across your publication my feed through the "Is the Internet Making Me Useless" post.

That post (and the conversations in the comments) resonated deeply with me. I used to write, but the pressure to write what algorithms would like became too much and I stopped. I've been working on figuring out the relationship I have with social media—fighting the built up desire to post for other's consumption—for 4 years now.

I want to think for myself, and writers like you inspire me to pick up this beautiful craft once again. 1000% glad to have found your work.

Now let me dive into more posts :)

Hi Ivy, thank you for saying hello! I’m so glad you came across my work and it connected with you. The pressure is real. I feel it every time I starting thinking about what I want to write or when I’m trying to figure out what to title one of my posts. I hope that pressure can start to feel like less of an obstacle between you and what you want to say. I’m looking forward to reading your writing. Thank you again for the kind greeting!
